Mostyn Tandoori

Spent the weekend in Llandudno and fancied a curry. I found this place online and thought I would give it a try. The restaurant is well presented and the lighting is very modern. There were four of us and we were fairly hungry and ordered a mixed grill, a chicken balti and lamb balti together with 2 garlic and 2 plain naan’s. The place wasn’t that busy and the food came out fairly promptly. The mixed grill came out sizzling and the curries looked great. The naan breads were freshly made and were piping hot. Once we tucked into the food, we were not disappointed! The curries whilst they had a bit of a kick, they were not too chilli and tasted great together with the fresh naan. The mixed grill also tasted good but the curries did the job. The waiters were very attentive, especially a young man named Arsalan, and the customer service was top notch. For a place which I found last minute I was very happy with the outcome and will definitely revisit if I am ever back in town.

As tourists in Llandudno, we really enjoyed our meal from this restaurant. We came for takeout and the staff were polite and friendly, taking our order and inviting us to sit while it was prepared. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff handed me the food with an apology for the wait, even though it only took about 10–15 minutes. Great service. We tried the chicken biryani and vegetable fried rice, and were delighted to also receive a complimentary curry. Everything was spicy, tasty, well-portioned, and truly satisfying. Splendid food and a lovely experience.

We really enjoyed our experience! We ate the butter chicken (my husband asked for it to be spicy), chicken biryani & naan. It was DELICIOUS. I’m a new mom, and the waitress, Poppy, was so kind and helpful with my baby and I! The staff was excellent. Very clean as well.

Only had a takeaway but a solid 9.8/10. Loved it, cooked fresh and very tasty, compliments to the chef... Onion bhaji - very tasty, only slight negative was they were a bit small. A bit fatter or 3 of that size would get full marks. Chicken Aloo Chat - absolutely amazing . Veg Biryani - lovely Fish Biryani - had to ask for this, but, again, lovely. Plenty of fish and think it was grilled or something because it had a nice crisp to it. Peshwari naan - just a classic. And Plenty of Biryani sauce for dipping. I'll be back for my birthday in about 3 weeks.

Amazing Indian Food Super tasty dishes with an excellent variety. The staff are very friendly and respectful, which makes the experience even better. I especially loved the kheema curry, bhindi, and akbari curry – all full of authentic flavour and served in generous portions. The prices for the curries are very reasonable, though I do feel the breads (chapati, naan, paratha) are priced too high and could be adjusted. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to eat, offering a truly authentic Indian dining experience. Well done to the people who are maintaining high standard of food.

Came here early Friday evening there were a few other tables in. We were greeted by Manoj who seated us. The menu has plenty of choice with traditional curries and chef specials. I had the lamb kalia and it was delicious, my daughter had mozzarella chicken which was really tasty. Arsal served us and was very friendly as were all the staff. A young lady named poppy served drinks and she was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back here the food was amazing

Enjoyed a really good vegetarian meal, here at the Mostyn Tandoori. The onion bhajis were freshly cooked and the curries were excellent. Very helpful and friendly service.
